The 45-minute album takes you on a journey through the disillusioned world from the point of view of a man born in nature and decoupled from society. It is the story of pain, fear, longing and loss of humanity and its nature. Here ÄERA (ÄER = old German for Earth) uses stylistic elements of the atmospheric, partly post black metal. Äera sounds driving, powerful and earthy, as well as unruly and whispering at the same time.
