Everyone you ever meet is entrenched in an internal battle. Life can be beautiful, but it is painful. Spirit Adrift channels this struggle sonically. Formed in May of 2015, the band wasted no time writing and recording their debut EP “Behind - Beyond” that same month. These songs are vital exercises in meditation and catharsis. They were born out of necessity, not desire. The foundations laid by the masters of the riff - Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Neurosis - are built upon, and the result is a psychedelic expanse of profound heaviness, captivating dynamics, and soaring melodies.
