Drawing heavy on the sampler, synthesised sounds and thick layers of distorted guitars, this group preceded highly successful acts such as Fear Factory and Nine Inch Nails. Highlights on The Land Of Rape And Honey include the songs 'Stigmata', 'The Missing' and 'Flashback' all examples of the band's distinctive signature sound.

Samsara Work summons five chthonic explorations using all the hallmark instrumentation of the genre to great effect; liturgical chants and spectral vocal incantations, minor keyboard orchestrations, resonant chimes and prayer bowls, ceremonial percussion, and atmospheric drift ensconced in sepulchral reverb. It’s a tapestry of richly detailed and layered sounds that emanate from candlelit chambers and underground passages, and an intoxicating and majestic homage to the darkest of arts.

It's richly detailed and multidimensional, while layered with chanting and broadly defined elements of traditional ritual and shamanic music. Apart from contemporary synths and guitar drones, the band makes use of bones and skulls as percussion instruments, Tibetan horns, Tibetan singing bowls, bone & horne trumpets, darbuka's (goblet drums) as well as ceremonial bells and gongs.
