Ministry successfully combined industrial heavy metal and electronic beats with a punk attitude. The Land Of Rape And Honey was their breakthrough album released in 1988, which laid the foundation for a series of successful 'tech metal' albums that appealed to alternative audiences all over the globe. Drawing heavy on the sampler, synthesised sounds and thick layers of distorted guitars, this group preceded highly successful acts such as Fear Factory and Nine Inch Nails. Highlights on The Land Of Rape And Honey include the songs 'Stigmata', 'The Missing' and 'Flashback' all examples of the band's distinctive signature sound.

More than any other artist to emerge from the fertile black metal scene of the early '90s, Ihsahn has firmly established himself as an unpredictable maverick.

It’s a tapestry of richly detailed and layered sounds that emanate from candlelit chambers and underground passages, and an intoxicating and majestic homage to the darkest of arts.

Shibalba's music is saturated with the mysticism of the East. It's richly detailed and multidimensional, while layered with chanting and broadly defined elements of traditional ritual and shamanic music. Apart from contemporary synths and guitar drones, the band makes use of bones and skulls as percussion instruments, Tibetan horns, Tibetan singing bowls, bone & horne trumpets, darbuka's (goblet drums) as well as ceremonial bells and gongs.

Bridging the gap between UNKLE, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, and timeless soundtrack compositions, the trio here have made a quite astounding collection of tracks, as unique as they are captivating.

NATT is a new instrumental band from Bergen. The songwriters behind the music are René Misje (Krakow, Trust Us) and Roy Ole Førland (Lindy-Fay Hella, Kari Rueslåtten, Malignant Eternal); Misje handles guitars, bass, piano and synthesizers while Førland handles synthesizers. They are joined by bassist Lord Bård and Enslaved drummer Iver Sandøy on drums and percussion for the studio session.
